Location: South East
Trader required for rapidly expanding, award winning meats specialist. This role will involve selling to range of sectors including catering butchers, foodservice, catering sector, manufacturing, industrial and retail sectors with clients throughout the UK, together with account managing and building up a portfolio of national accounts.
Trading with suppliers across Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Chile, Argentina Uruguay and the UK.
You will focus on one or a range of meats including: beef, lamb, pork, mutton, chicken, turkey, wild and game meats. The company are experiencing tremendous growth and now looking to expand the Trading team and increase the client base.
You will typically be working within a meat trading environment, selling to one or a range of business sectors, and trading on a multi-national basis.
Reporting to the Commercial Trading Director you will have total autonomy in the role, with responsibility for designated sales targets and portfolio growth, enabling you to run your business unit cost effectively ensuring development of your customer base and an increase in growth and distribution.
You will be required to take a strategic approach to the role, developing strong long term relationships and partnerships purely at a head office level. You will be involved in total process from buying / importing, trading and selling. You will be a very confident and skilled presenter and negotiator. An excellent networker you will have an excellent eye for identifying and creating opportunities in existing clients.
You will have the support and backup of a highly dedicated, effective and company-focused team who will support you in all areas to ensure that you have all the support and tools necessary to succeed. This is a superb opportunity for the successful candidate.

- Proven experience of as a Trader in the meats industry: beef, lamb, pork, mutton, chicken, turkey etc.
- Strong account management and relationship building skills.
- Excellent new business winner.
- Ambitious self-starter.
- First class negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
- Highly resilient, charismatic and outgoing.
- Location - Based in the South East.
- Language skills an advantage.
Basic Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Commission: £100+ OTE uncapped
