B2B Services Growth Opportunity
To £90k base salary plus bonus
Our client, a profitable niche B2B support services company with a nationwide footprint, has a turnover of c£10 million and a strong revenue pipeline with a portfolio of blue chip corporate and consumer clients. The Managing Director has ambitious plans to double turnover and profitability through a combination of organic growth and acquisition to enhance its service offer. He now wishes to strengthen his team and recruit a high calibre leader, capable of creating a best in class customer centric operation that delivers a competitive advantage and will take the business to the next level.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for a team of Key Account Managers and Regional Managers and some 500 full and part time employees. Your remit will be to increase the level of customer satisfaction and generate greater value from the existing client base by providing a more proactive and efficient service. Key to success will be your ability to build strong customer relationships and gain a real understanding of their ongoing requirements. You will be expected to motivate and mentor your people so they work effectively both as individuals and as a team and create a talent pipeline to support the growth projections. You will also need to ensure that policies and processes comply with industry regulations and contribute to the overall planning and management of the business.
Intellectually and commercially sharp, you will have a proven record of driving sales and service and building brand loyalty in a blue chip : multi site B2B service, retail or leisure business. You will also have had demonstrable success delivering operational excellence growing a smaller entrepreneurial company in a tight margin environment and innovating to keep one step ahead of market trends. The role calls for an organised, tenacious, high impact individual who sees the big picture as well as the detail and thrives on managing conflicting demands to tight deadlines. Strong leadership and influencing skills to challenge the status quo and inspire confidence internally and externally are critical, as is a passion for customer service and developing teams to raise the company’s game.
