Sales Manager - Bridgend

The Sales Manager role will involve managing teams of people within a well established and respected British brand. You will report directly to the Store manager and following comprehensive training will be responsible for running the store in their absence.
You will be expected to work enthusiastically with a focus on maximising sales and will work in a very 'hands-on' manner in order to bring this about.
Working in the very competitive non-food and DIY sector, as an assistant store manager, you will be expected to learn about your product range rapidly and have confidence selling on the shop floor as well as motivating and leading other staff members.

You will be given all the skills needed to succeed as an assistant manager such as product training and management development. On top of this their will be great opportunities for career progression - The successful candidate will be ear-marked for rapid growth into a Store Manager role.

- The successful Sales Manager applicants will have:
- Past management experience of at least team leader level.
- Great inter-personal and leadership skills

- A strong sales or retail background
