Our client, a Leading Australian Accessories manufacturer and retailer, is currently searching for an experienced Production Manager who is across sourcing, development and production to be based in the Victorian office.
Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, this opportunity requires a dedicated and competent Production Manager who has extensive knowledge within the development process of leather Footwear & Bags; to oversee the critical path and work closely with the Design and Development teams to harness the vision and see it through from conception to finished product
Key Responsibilities:
:: Regular travel to suppliers’ off-shore
:: Knowledge & selection of required materials and fabrications
:: Oversee development & production scheduling - Critical path / time management
:: Building close relationships with internal design and production teams and working together to achieve collection deadlines (3 collections per year)
:: Timely production of samples
:: Manage assistants
An in-depth knowledge of premium leather footwear and/or handbag production, design, sourcing & specification detailing will ensure consideration of this role.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have a successful history in Sourcing and Product Management gained from within the above mentioned category (leather). You will be a true leader with a genuine passion for continuous improvement, be commercially savvy with an eye for quality & good taste – If you possess experience in an Accessories Retail/Wholesale Business, This maybe the role for you!
