Can you help us promote Kingston upon Thames and Kingstonfirst, the organisation responsible for improving business in our Town Centre? We’ve brought nearly 2.5 million more visitors to Kingston since our launch 7 years ago, and we’re aiming to exceed that by a big margin next year and increase our income significantly.
As a member of the senior management team, you’ll play a major part in achieving these goals. You’ll help our Chief Executive develop and implement the right strategies, win the wholehearted support of everyone involved and increase direct sales. This will involve assisting in developing relationships with stakeholders from the local council, core funders, volunteer contributors, key sponsors to others who can support our growth. We will look to you to identify new commercial opportunities and drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation. You’ll also have direct responsibility for our marketing, events, visitor management and relationship management programmes and take the lead on all aspects of economic development.
With your experience in a similar role you know the marketing and sales approaches needed. You’re already familiar with visitor management practices and ACT, and a successful team leader and contract manager. Your background means you’ll quickly master the organisational, budget and time management aspects of the job, and bring your innovative thinking skills to bear on its challenges. It won’t be long before your influence results in our turnover rising.
